• To inculcate the value of discipline among students CDA ensures it being implemented from the very morning every day. Cadets are required to wake up at 5:00 am and have an hour’s drill/yoga (click here) and physical fitness session. They have breakfast at 7:30 after getting fresh and ready for school. They do schooling till 12:30 and return to hostel and have lunch. They might also like to take some rest or study as per their convenience.
• They have their classes again from 2:30pm to 6:00pm. Thereafter they may like to enjoy tea and some snacks like samosa, kachoris, pakoras etc as per the daily menu. Then it’s a time for games (click here) like football, volleyball etc and drill session under the guidance of trainers and warden upto 8:00pm. After exhaustion from games and drill session, students enjoy delicious and healthy dinner. Post meal, students have time for self-study under the watch of warden in study room. Finally doze off to bed at 11:00 pm to begin next day afresh. Every new day brings rays of brightness and hope for an exuberant Start.

CHANDIGARH DEFENCE ACADEMY has its own holiday/ vacation calendar which is updated on website and information is shared to parents timely by CHANDIGARH DEFENCE ACADEMY coordinator.
CDA understands the concern of parents/guardians of the students in the matters of security and safety of their wards. As such safety and security is ensured under 24*7 surveillance of Warden/ Security Persons who keep a regular check on all movements and activities in and around the vicinity. Anything found suspicious or strange is immediately taken notice of by the concerned officials and resolved.
